If you Like good rock roll then then the Black Moods are the band to see. They are a breath of fresh air
I shoot a lot of different types of music. but it nice to get back to great rock and roll, I was introduced to the Black Moods by a friend of mine and I can see why she follows them, there fans are like one big family it is fun to see. You can go and just relax have a few drinks and enjoy
I got to say I love what I do. and it is a privilege to shoot the bands that I listen to. Like Drowning Pool and Saliva those two bands can still get the fans moving and have a great time doing it. But then there is the new bands that I have never heard of before, like Thrower and Above Snakes these to band came out and had the tough job get the crowd worked up and set the mood for the rest of the night and they didn't disappoint. they came out and kicked ass. I personally like Above Snakes and I hope to see more of them in the future. they came out and put on a show that really got the crowd up on their feet and ready for Saliva and Drowning pool. As I said before I love what I do and I feel it is an Honor to be able to shoot these bands
I had been wanting to see Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters for years but was never able to get to one of there shows.let alone get to shoot the show and I was not disappointed they put on a great show and by the size of the crowd, a lot of people must agree with me,I can't remember seeing that large of a crowd at knuckleheads in a long time
Joanne Shaw Taylor she Played the Kauffman Center and she could not have played at a better place.her Music and her voice sounded great,I had never seen her live and I have to say I loved it and will definitely see her again hopefully it won't be to long before she comes back again I really enjoy seeing a showmen the artist looks like they are have as much fun as at the audience
Its Tuesday night, Going to the Uptown Theater in Kansas City Mo .to See the Band Cheap Trick one of my all time Favorite Bands. And they didn't disappoint They can still rock out with the best of them and now they have brought along some Family members. It all started with Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Heart Band they had everybody rocking and ready for Cheap Trick and they kicked ass from the first song and carried it till the end there were some new people on the stage Rick Nielsen other son Max on the drums and Robin Zander's son on guitar and vocals that being said It was a great night with great music and great friends. If you ever get a chance to see them in concert you won t be disappointed
Wade Bowen | Reaching New Depths on Somewhere Between The Secret And The Truth
Producing your own album is no small feat and to fill the KC local venue Knuckleheads on a Tuesday evening with cowboy hats and boots is even more impressive. Wade Bowen did both of those things and with great success. Following Bryant Carter, Bowen dove into his set with no holds barred. Peppering in songs from his newest album Somewhere Between The Secret And The Truth, his energy grew and you could tell he was not only excited to play his new music but confident that it would be embraced by the crowd — which it was. We got a chance to talk to Bowen about his new album and the challenges of not only creating in a time of chaos, but to also produce an album on your own.
Have you ever had one of those HOLY SHIT moments ? Well I had one of those moments last night. I had heard that the HU puts on a good show but it was better than good it was great The moment they walked on stage the crowd was so into it
everybody was having the best time. and that carried on through the whole show. I hope I get the privilege to shot this band again its been a long time since I have enjoyed a band this much so if you get the chance to see The HU go see them you won't be disappointed
The night started out with three local bands KJ Khaotic, Twisted Dragon and What is within they got the place warmed up for Oh! The Horror,The funeral portrait and the headliner Davey Suicide .
Oh! the horror and The funeral Portrait didn't disappoint then Davey Suicide took the stage to a much smaller crowd but still rocked the shit out of the place they put on a great show looking forward to seeing them again
The Elders an Irish American band that have been around since1998, and has been a Kansas City Favorite for a long time. I personally had heard about them about eight years ago but never had the chance to see them live , So when I went to the show I wasn't sure what to expect. it was a full house the opening band was the Canterberries and they were really good then the Elders started to play and I could see what I was missing all these years one of the best shows I have seen in a long time
Michale Graves
The former Misfits front man, Michale Graves' Beginning of the End tour stopped in Kansas City, MO at the intentionally divey Knuckleheads Saloon on December 16,2017. There was a decent turn out for the band that played the songs of the Misfits, Gotham Road and Michale Graves' solo work. Although the incarnation of the Misfits with Graves as a singer disbanded in 2000, he still showed up in full makeup and costume and put on an energetic, albeit short show that got the small audience of mostly men moving. Despite the show being at the end of a long tour, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and made a point to take the time after the show to get pictures and talk with the fans. Even though the Misfits have done a few reunion shows with various forms of the line up in the past few years without Graves, it brings a sense of nostalgia to get to see the music performed with such energy in an intimate setting like Knuckleheads.

The Darkness
The Darkness played a rainy cold Sunday night in KC on April 8 and no one knew quite what to expect. It has been years since their hit "I believe in a Thing Called Love" was released and most people's response to the current tour was "Oh, they are still around?" However, they proved they definitely are still around and are promoting their new album "Pinewood Smile." For the most part it still sounds very much like the Darkness just a little more grown up. There are still plenty of falsetto notes hit, busy guitar solos and corny glam rock stage personas to be had, yet the music has definitely matured. The band seemed to be having fun as they jokingly mocked the audiences singing ability and at one point the lead singer wore an audience member's KC Royals hat and another's glasses. By the end of the night the true Darkness fans walked away satisfied and those who didn't know what to expect were pleasantly surprised and converted.
